The mission
At Peloton, the goal was to elevate the year-end review process for people leaders, ensuring it was comprehensive and engaging. The mission centered around creating an interactive training program to equip leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct effective and meaningful year-end reviews by enhancing their ability to provide constructive feedback and set clear team goals—the training aimed to foster a culture of continuous improvement and development within the organization.
Building the concept
I integrated diverse multimedia elements to maximize engagement and retention. I leveraged Articulate Rise as the primary platform, allowing for a structured and user-friendly mobile and tablet-friendly experience. To make the learning experience more dynamic, I incorporated Storyline blocks within Rise to deliver interactive scenarios and quizzes. Additionally, I employed Vyond animation to create scenario-based knowledge checks, providing a visual and practical context for the concepts taught. These animations depicted real-life situations that leaders might encounter, enhancing their problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Impressive result
The final product was an immersive eLearning course that seamlessly blended interactive elements with engaging animations. Although I left Peloton before the training was fully implemented and the results were measured, initial feedback during the development phase was overwhelmingly positive. People leaders appreciated the practical, scenario-based approach and found the content relevant to their roles. The innovative use of Vyond animations for scenario-based knowledge checks was well-received, providing leaders with a safe space to practice and refine their skills. The anticipation was that this training would significantly enhance the quality and effectiveness of year-end reviews, fostering a more development-focused culture at Peloton.
